Engineering Manager Role with 300 Person Streaming Services Firm in NYC Area

Our client is a rapidly growing firm in the streaming services space that’s currently staffing for an engineering manager on its subscriptions and payments team. This candidate NEEDS to come from a background working in subscriptions and payments, having a strong understanding of how subscriptions work in terms of billings, renewals, payments, etc.
Responsibilities:
– 50% hands-on architecture and development and 50% people management, project management, and other responsibilities (3 direct reports to start, with the expectation of hiring more engineers down the line. Responsibilities will be less hands-on as the team grows.)
Qualifications:
– Must have a strong understanding of subscription services
– 2+ years of engineering management experience preferred, 7+ years of overall engineering experience
