100 person cybersecurity firm based in Maryland is staffing for a senior data engineer – fully remote flexibility post-COVID is allowed, on-site in the Baltimore area would be great as well. This is a full-time position (base salary plus equity and benefits).

 

Qualifications:

– Senior data engineer (at least 4+ years) with strong ETL/data pipelining experience, any experience with data warehousing or data lakes is a plus

– Spark and/or Databricks are preferred

– This is a lead position – any previous lead experience or mentorship of junior engineers is preferred

– Cloud experience – any public cloud experience with AWS, GCP, or Azure, and/or containerization experience with Kubernetes or Docker is preferred

 

This is a newly architected greenfield project, the programming language itself is not decided yet, but will likely be either Java, Python, or Scala.
