SSAS/SQL DBA -Hedge Fund NYC-Midtown

My client is a global hedge fund that manages over 20 billion in assets. They are actively looking for a SQL Server DBA/BI(SSAS) engineer with at least 7 years experience managing environments of over at least 1 Terabytes in size and range up to 20 terabytes (largest). Candidate should have in depth knowledge of SQL Server and have at least 2 years of SSAS. Breakdown would be 50% DBA/ 50% Architecture(SSAS/TSQL/C#)
Description of the Role:
Day to day tasks will revolve around maintaining databases, database servers, and database storage. There are over 50 developers with varying degrees of SQL expertise, many require a high level of expertise to complete their work and improve existing processes. Solutions are built using of best of class technologies, with the common expectation of an enterprise grade resiliency and performance.

The successful candidate will be capable of collaborating with the IT team on the development and deployment of systems and solutions. The successful candidate must be able to take ownership of multiple tasks and measure the work on those tasks against the work of the group to complete larger tasks successfully with a minimum of daily supervision.

SQL Server administration(7+ Years)
Query writing(TSQL)
Query tuning
SQL Server performance tuning
Always On Availability and clustering
Replication Technologies (SQL Server and Storage based)
Multidimensional databases (SSAS, OLAP)
Some scripting and programming experience a plus.
Knowledge of and experience with, various storage platforms.
