Senior PHP Application Developer

My client is currently seeking a highly skilled Senior Application Developer to join their team. They are seeking someone who is interested in working in a collaborative environment where you have a vested interest in the development and success of the company’s core product. You would be working on a team of 6, being responsible for 100% development on their new applications and system features as well as providing technical leadership to the team in terms of project planning, direction, problem solving and application design

Core Responsibilities:

· Working in FLCD of both server and client side of web based systems and applications

· Participating in group meetings for problem solving ideas, recommending and researching improvements to system and technology.

· Providing technical leadership to the team in terms of project planning, direction, problem solving, application design and implementing best practices.

Skill Requirements:

· 5+ years of PHP development experience with a strong understanding of OO principles.

· Experience with MVC frameworks preferably with Zend.

· Experience developing web applications and not just sites

· Experience with GIT or other subversion control

· Experience or knowledge of working in an Agile environment, specifically with TDD and unit testing.

· B.S. in C.S. or similar field with an excellent understanding of core C.S. concepts
