Senior Front End Developer for Entertainment Firm

We areseeking an exceptional Frontend Developer. Ideal candidates will be innovative, self-motivated, a quick study, and willing to develop new skills while constantly improving existing abilities. The candidate must also be a strong multi-tasker with exceptional time-management skills. In this position, you will build and integrate the front and back-end frameworks for our products across multiple platforms.

Overview:
This position is for a Javascript/HTML5/Css3 developer with broad experience. Candidate would join a focused team of developers with a wide range of skill sets to build highly-available, high-performance web sites, iOS/Android/other platform apps and associated web service platform. Our product is available to millions of subscribers, so writing code that can scale horizontally is key. We’re building the future of television, pushing onto new platforms… And along the way, we get to play with some great tech.

We are a small startup team and we work very collaboratively. We follow agile development practices and believe in frequent releases and iterations. Requirements

Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science/Engineering
2 years of agile web development experience
Experience with object oriented programming
Experience in RubyRails/PHP a major plus
CSS, Javascript, HTML, JQuery ( HTML5,CSS3)
other pluses Node.JS and Backbone.JS
