DevOps Engineer

My client is a leading provider in real time advertising solutions. Currently they are seeking a devOps Engineer to join their NYC team. In this role you will be responsible for supporting their infrastructure, LAMP systems administration, automation and AWS/EC2 monitoring and scaling.

The ideal candidate is eager to work with enterprise software platforms, learn and work with AWS/EC2 and cloud based tools, work closely with development teams, utilize cutting edge technologies and follow best practices.

The ideal candidate will have experience with the following:

· 2+ years of professional experience in a web environment

· Experience with LAMP systems administration, installations and configuration

· Experience/knowledge with maintenance, monitoring and setting up AWS/EC2

· Experience with Apache and/or Nginx in regards to configurations

· Experience/knowledge with Nagios

· Experience with automation either through scripting (Python, Ruby, Perl) or Puppet &/or Chef

· Experience/knowledge of MySQL configuration, troubleshooting & support

· Experience supporting Mac OSX products is a plus
