One of our clients is looking for a Director of Data Architecture for a new data initiative they are starting. They are a mid-sized SaaS company that builds a best-in-class software platform for finance and legal professionals to make timely, data-driven informed decisions about investment opportunities.

The Director of Data Architecture will analyze the current data ecosystem (MySQL, PostgreSQL, Mongo, AWS), evaluate new technology, design and architect a new, modern architecture using best-in-class tools and technologies (Hadoop, Snowflake, Spark, data streaming, etc.) as well as staff, lead and manage a team of Data Engineers in an effort to build the new data analytics product suite. Technical Product Manager (Mobile)

Early-stage startup in the health & wellness technology industry is looking for a Technical Product Manager. They company has been in business for about four years and has ample funding.  They are transforming the way doctors identify, monitor and treat various ailments by designing and building small, wearable, non-invasive sensors and a mobile app. The app is connected to a web interface and machine learning tools for doctors/providers to analyze and manage treatment of various disabilities and conditions. They have two patents and are in FDA approval processes and are leveraging micro-sensors, mobile and ML technologies to revolutionize the health-tech industry.

They are looking for a Technical Product Manager with 2-4 years of professional experience ideally in B2C software, Mobile and startups/small companies. Any experience in healthcare, biotech, health/wellness or highly regulated industries is a plus. The PM will define strategy and roadmap for new features and products, will execute on these roadmaps, conduct user interviews/create profiles, create detailed specifications, define user journeys based on trends and communicate with R&D and executive teams, so excellent organizational and communication skills are a must!

Full Stack Rails, React Role with Manhattan Based Series B Healthcare Firm

Our client is a 100 person firm in the healthcare space that just raised over $60M in Series B funding, and at the moment they have a handful of spots open for full stack developers (can be either front-end leaning or back-end leaning, depending on the candidates’ expertise.)
Qualifications:
– 3+ years of full stack software engineering experience (open on tech stack, but candidate must work in Rails)
Desired, but not requisite Qualifications:
– Experience with Ruby on Rails and React
– Experience working at a high growth firm that has scaled its engineering teams rapidly
– Flexibility to work across more of the front-end or more of the back-end depending on the team’s need at the time
US Citizens or Green Card holders only at this time. For senior engineers compensation up to 165k base plus equity, for mid-level engineers up to 140k base plus equity. Client is based in Manhattan but can offer fully remote flexibility.

Engineering Manager Role with 300 Person Streaming Services Firm in NYC Area

Our client is a rapidly growing firm in the streaming services space that’s currently staffing for an engineering manager on its subscriptions and payments team. This candidate NEEDS to come from a background working in subscriptions and payments, having a strong understanding of how subscriptions work in terms of billings, renewals, payments, etc.
Responsibilities:
– 50% hands-on architecture and development and 50% people management, project management, and other responsibilities (3 direct reports to start, with the expectation of hiring more engineers down the line. Responsibilities will be less hands-on as the team grows.)
Qualifications:
– Must have a strong understanding of subscription services
– 2+ years of engineering management experience preferred, 7+ years of overall engineering experience
This firm is based in Manhattan, the preference is for on-site work post-COVID (only a few days a week at most), but potentially they will consider 100% remote for the right candidate. Open to transferring an H1B, compensation 175k-225k base plus bonus and stock options (250k-300k+ total comp).

150 Person Market Data Firm Looking for a Hardware Engineer – FPGA, Verilog, C++

Company has been around for 10+ years and provides high-speed market data for banks and hedge funds across the United States. At the moment they’re targeting a hardware engineer that is able to relocate to their office in the Midwest post COVID.
Requirements:
– Production level experience as a hardware engineer using efficient code for high-speed processing, at least 1 to 2+ years desired (can be a senior candidate as well with 10+ overall years)
– Experience in the full FPGA design lifecycle
– Experience with Verilog or System Verilog
– Experience with C++ and Linux
– Some exposure to Python is preferred
– Any experience working in a financial trading or market data environment would be great, albeit not requisite

React Leaning Full Stack Development Role / 60 Person Fintech in Manhattan

Fintech based here in the NYC area is looking for a strong React engineer, with preferably some Python or NodeJS on the back-end. The company provides trading technology for different banking and hedge fund clients, and due to a recent acquisition is scaling their engineering team. This role would be about 80% front-end and 20% back-end development, the ideal candidate would have previously built out the UI for data driven applications, like dashboards or portfolio management applications or other similar systems.

Additional preference as well for any cloud or DevOps exposure, the team is transitioning their infrastructure to AWS. 3-7 years of experience (flexible for the right candidate), compensation 150k-160k on the base plus a strong bonus potential.
