Junior Application Developer, Java

Specialized financial software co. in downtown Manhattan is looking for a Junior to Mid-level Application Developer. Our client is willing and able to accept recent college grads and individuals with 1-2 years’ experience. No financial service experience is required but applicant must be willing and able to learn financial concepts.

Qualified candidates should have experience with Java, J2EE, and SQL any additional experience or knowledge of Swing, XML, or JDBC are all plusses. Applicants should have knowledge of data structures, design patterns, and algorithms. BSCS or equivalent is required.

The Application Developer will work in a team environment enhancing and developing reporting and analytic tools for trade and investment data. You must demonstrate excellent verbal and written communication skills as well as the ability to thrive in a dynamic collaborative team environment.
