Javascript Engineer

My client is a leading innovator in the real time display advertising space. They are currently expanding their NYC office and are seeking a Javascript Developer to join their team. In this role you will help them build out a new, highly scalable product utilizing backbone.JS.
The ideal candidate is an experienced developer who is ininvolved in all aspects of the development lifecycle (idea, development, implementation, etc.), enjoys working and collaborating in a team environment and is looking for a company that places a premium on innovation and creative thinking.

The following skill set is required:
• Proficient knowledge of Javascript, specifically in regards to Object Oriented programming.
• 1+ years of experience with backbone.JS (or other comparable frameworks)
• Strong working knowledge of HTML5, CSS3 and pre-processors such as LESS
• Professional experience working in an Agile environment utilizing TDD or BDD & unit testing
• Knowledgeable of the best software development practices
• Working knowledge of Git (or similar)
• BS in CS or similar degree or experience
• Node.JS knowledge or experience is a plus
