C/C++/Linux Professional Services Needed

My client is actively looking for a Presales/consultant role to manage and build out their NYC business. Client needs someone who has strong technical skills(C,C++, Linux) and strong interpersonal skills to interact with customers(High Frequency Traders). 50% development 50% account management/Project Management. Allowed to work from home and go into NYC to meet with clients once or twice a week. Must be self motivated and responsible to support business needs. Up to 25% travel. Local to the NYC area for daily work
BS or MS in computer science
Strong programming skills in C, C++ and Java
Strong communication skills (written and spoken)
Experience working with financial applications and software messaging systems: Wombat, Solace, Tervela, 29West
Experience working directly with prospects and customers
Ability to travel as needed (typically financial centers: Chicago, London, Frankfurt, etc.)
