Dev Ops Engineer

Our client is a growing leader in the investment and advisory research and analytics space. Their innovative technology platform helps make them an industry-leader in their field. They are currently looking for a Junior to Mid-Level Dev Ops Engineer to join their team.

Ideal candidates will have 1-2 years of experience with Linux or Unix Systems Administration (they currently use Ubuntu), experience with one or more scripting language (ideally python or shell) and experience with AWS (or any other comparable cloud-based web service / infrastructure). Nice-to-haves include Ansible (or Puppet or Chef), Jenkins and any experience or exposure to continuous integration or continuous deployment. BSCS or equivalent technology-related degree is preferred.

The Dev Ops Engineer will work in a 100% AWS, cloud-based environment and will work with the team to continue the transition to a 100% continuous deployment environment, specifically gaining hands-on experience with Ansible and Jenkins. This is an excellent opportunity for a smart, ambitious Junior Dev Ops Engineer to get professional experience with cutting-edge technologies in a production environment, all while being mentored by an experienced leader.
